CEATEC JAPAN 2006 Exhibition Contents

 

The ECHONET Consortium exhibited and demonstrated products and demonstrations on the ECHONET Specification in CEATEC JAPAN 2006 to promote ECHONET. The exhibition was held from 3rd to 7th of October 2006, in MAKUHARI MESSE (Japan Convention Center) near Tokyo.
Thanks to many visitors to come to the ECHONET Booth. The exhibition was great success. The details of exhibition contents are as follows.

1. Concept of safe, comfortable, and convenient lives enhanced by the ECHONET - UPnPTM interoperability specifications (Changing lives by convergence of home appliance and information appliance)
2. Living scene demonstrations realized by ECHONET ("amenity" services - remote operation of air conditioners, "convenience" services - whole appliances setting at bedtime)
3. Equipment control, development tool demonstrations, and module or adapter devices for transmission media by Member companies.
