Summary of the 9th ECHONET Forum On December 16 (Mon), 2002, the 9th ECHONET Forum was held at KOGAKUIN Univ in Shinjuku-ku district, Tokyo. About 170 individuals from 71 member companies and government officials participated and had active exchange of opinions and information. In this Forum, main items were report on the overseas investigation and current status of home network related products and technologies by member companies.

The following items were presented:

1. Overseas investigation report in Europe 2. On ECHONET certification of ECHONET products 3. Market research report on home network 4. Special Lecture: The Energy Conservation Center , Japan 5. Current status of ECHONET products and technologies by member companies et al.
