Summary of the 13th ECHONET Forum On February 22 (Tue), 2005, the 13th ECHONET Forum was held at KOGAKUIN University in Shinjuku-ku district, Tokyo. About 120 individuals from 57 member companies and government officials participated and had active exchange of opinions and information. In this Forum, main items were Invited speech , Revised points in ECHONET Specification Ver.3.40, Investigation report in the EU, The 1st ECHONET PlugFest, and Revision of the Articles of the ECHONET Consortium and exhibition of ECHONET / home network products by Member Companies.

The following items were presented:

1. Investigation report in Europe (Net-atHome 2004) 2. Invited speech: On activities of METI for dissemination of information appliances 3. Revised contents of ECHONETTM Ver.3.40 4. Revision of the Articles of the ECHONET Consortium 5. The 1st ECHONET PlugFest 6. Technical speeches by member companies

* in addition to the above mentioned items, the exhibition and demonstration of ECHONET products and home network systems were performed by member companies in the Lobby of the lecture place.
